As a Senior Accounting Consultant at Go North you will be in charge of the company’s overall accounting activities. To succeed in this project, you will have a sense of ownership, experience in an ERP system, be detail-oriented, possess good communication skills and have advanced Excel skills.

Key responsibilities include:

• Full responsibility and ownership for the day-to-day activities of accounting
• Managing month-end closing activities to ensure completeness in accounting entries
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and tax filings, working with external advisers
• Support, maintain and improve internal ERP system policies and procedures
• Support external audits by researching and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors
• Lead strategic initiatives and special projects when assigned or required and manage to cross-functional initiatives

Go to your profile:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• 4+ years of similar work experience from an accounting firm
• Ecommerce or manufacturing-related experience is preferred
• Experience using ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite) is a big plus
• Exceptional doer skills with a proactive mindset
• Administrative skills with strong attention to detail
• Entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on mentality
• Used to work in a high-paced environment and in a fast forward company
• English proficiency

   

  This is a consulting position, reporting directly to the Head of Accounting. The project is based in our Headquarter in Gothenburg, in the thriving area of Linné/Järntorget/Haga, which is well connected with public transport and surrounded by great places to eat and socialize.
